Outside the gym, I’ve spent almost 30 years playing lacrosse, representing England and Scotland, and I still love the challenge, camaraderie and lessons the sport continues to teach me. I’ve also facilitated men’s groups for over a decade, creating spaces where people can talk honestly, support one another and grow through life’s challenges. Those experiences have shaped how I coach just as much as any qualification ever could.
I’m fascinated by human potential. Whether it’s improving strength, building confidence, recovering from injury or simply helping someone feel more like themselves again, I love seeing people realise they’re capable of more than they first believed.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me with my family, exploring the outdoors, training, or planning our next adventure. I believe life is meant to be lived well, and if I can help someone leave the gym feeling stronger, more confident and better equipped for whatever life throws at them, then I’ve done my job.
