MP for Eddisbury Edward Timpson visits Spire Healthcare upstairs at Instinct Gym & Wellbeing

Last week, local MP Edward Timpson visited the newly launched private health clinic, Spire Tarporley which is situated inside Instinct Gym and Wellbeing, under the Enigma Wellness offer.

Mr Timpson was shown around the building and had the opportunity to see the facilities the site offers for patients with a variety of conditions. The visit was hosted by Ben White, Hospital Director at Spire Cheshire Hospital.

Ben introduced Mr Timpson to the benefits the new Tarporley Clinic brings to the local public, such as allowing patients in west and south west Cheshire who are worried about their health to have local access to high-quality expert consultant advice in a relaxing and calm environment.

Ben White said, “It is a pleasure to welcome Mr Timpson to the new clinic and inform him of the fantastic services we offer. The clinic has started off with orthopaedic, men’s health, colorectal and gastroenterological consultants practising, and will expand the range of services in the coming weeks. The clinic helps in relieving the pressure on NHS waiting lists and responds to the high demand from patients prepared to pay for treatment in order to get quicker access to consultant-led care.

During his visit, Mr Timpson also met Dr Subramanian Ramakrishnan, consultant gastroenterologist. Dr Subramanian Ramakrishnan added “I have noticed that my patients have felt more relaxed and comfortable as the new clinic offers a more informal ambience. The clinic also provides me with access to a larger number of patients as well as extending my reach further into Tarporley for the convenience of my patients”.
