Instinct Gym is a Safe Space…

At Instinct, we have worked hard to cultivate an uplifting community for our members. A gym that is free from judgement and egos. A gym which is a safe space for all abilities.

That one place where you can just turn up and leave all of life’s stresses at the door. You are met by a friendly face ready to take some time for yourself and practise some self-care.

Some would even describe it as a “third space”, a place where they can escape for just a couple of hours and share a space with like-minded members, doing their bit to stay healthy.

Naturally, you may still be hesitant. It is a scary thing to step outside of your comfort zone and put yourself in an unfamiliar environment.

I’m here to put your mind at ease…

We invest heavily in our facilities, and data continues to prove that we are a haven for helping you to reach your goals and make lifestyle changes that stick, long-term.

That can only be done by creating one-to-one relationships with all of our members so that we can adapt to ensure you’re never bored, always focussed on your goals and welcomed through the door.

We cultivate this relationship to put you at ease when you’re in the gym and we also go the extra mile to ensure your success!

Don’t be afraid of asking for help…

That is exactly what we are here for.

When it comes to building confidence with exercising, understanding movement and having a clear purpose and goal is a great way to build momentum – when it’s done consistently. Whether you are an athlete or just starting, having guidance from a well-educated coach is priceless.

Why is having a coach important?

If you’re unsure of how to perform exercises, YouTube videos will only get you so far.

At some point you may need to seek out the advice and expertise of a qualified, well-educated coach to help you, breaking down the movements to ensure you’re performing them correctly and safely.

A personal trainer or a group training setting can be a great way to break past barriers and get you on the path that will give you confidence in movement so you can go perform exercises on your own.

Don’t take our word for it, take it from our clients…

Ian completed the Kickstart programme and after seeing great results, he has continued with one-to-one personal training here at Instinct and is consistently seeing improvements in his training and body measurements.

“The results speak for themselves, I have reduced body fat, increased muscle mass, and managed significant gains in strength and cardio fitness.  There is not only visible signs of progress, the stats both in the gym and on Strava are obvious!  Furthermore, the shoulder pains I had been experiencing through arthritis prior to joining Instinct have reduced significantly. Instinct holistic approach to health and wellbeing is awesome, there is a positive vibe amongst members and staff, and I really couldn’t recommend it more highly.” – Ian
