We washed cars, we danced, we cycled and we pushed ourselves to the limit in our Beat the Trainer challenge, all to raise money for Children in Need.

We raised almost £1,200, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Last Friday, we opened our doors at 6.45am to begin our 200 miles in 12 hours Pedal for Pudsey challenge.

Our 200 mile goal seemed almost impossible, but with the hard work and determination of our Instinct Community, we reached our goal just over two hours early.

Our Beat the Trainer challenge was based on the number 1980, due to Children in Need being founded that year.

This saw us completing 1000 metres on the bike, 9 lengths with the prowler and 80 slam balls, in the fastest time possible.

Our trainers, Chris, Rich, Jonny and Sam all completed the challenge with a 20kg weighted vest around their chest to hinder them.

Rich completed the challenge in 7.17 minutes, Sam in 6.16 minutes, Jonny in 5.15 minutes and Chris in 5.01 minutes.

Rich before and after the challenge – 7.17 minutes…

Sam before and after the challenge – 6.16 minutes…

Jonny before and after the challenge – 5.15 minutes…

Chris before and after the challenge – 5.01 minutes…

ACTivate Workshops held an after school Theatre Dance Class in our Flow studio and everybody left with a huge smile on their face.

The workshop allowed children to have fun and release their inner performer, whilst getting them moving and having fun with one another.

Our car wash team did an amazing job, they had every car in Tarporley squeaky clean!

Fuel Coffee House and Kitchen kept everyone going throughout the 12 hour day with delicious Pudsey Cakes and smoothies, as well as the usual delicious salads and sandwiches.

We are overwhelmed by the support of our community, you helped us go above and beyond our goal and help us to support children and young people across the UK to rebuild their lives.

There is still time to donate to this amazing cause.
